About Us

Salus Security Services was founded by three senior security specialists with over 80 years experience in law enforcement with the FBI and US Embassies abroad. The firm was created to address a need identified by two of our founding partners during the course of their long careers in law enforcement and reinforced while considering study abroad options for their own teenage children.

That is, the need to provide American tourists, business travelers and students with an in-country resource in case of a security or safety emergency. Our offices and partners are based in New York and Houston, and our PoCs, are based locally. Salus Security Services is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) that is led by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, under the U.S. Department of State.
